What we do
Our Vision
Rootstock Arts is dedicated to fostering the development of artist collaboration, artist communities and cultures. We bring together diverse group of performers, presenters and appreciators of music and other performing arts, with a focus on sustainability and artist-centered values. We will continue to offer opportunities to present work, curate relevant programming and facilitate artist networking to our community.
Bringing together creative collaborators
This video showcases how artist collaboration can beautifully bring together different creative artists and discplines. Oakland based Mani Draper shows his video storytelling skills by featuring work by the Arun Ramamurthy Trio and Leela Dance Collective at the historic Ainsley House in Campbell CA. Supported by the South Arts Grants in 2023.
Casual gatherings and artist networking
Since our founding, we have facilitated connecting artist communities. We have provided opportunities for artists to exhibit their work, collaborate with each other, and aspire to build systems towards career-artist sustainability.
